Friday, July 18, 2014 - Delicious PNP. Open for business, I find the Pelkan's are a bit more relaxed than other Carlisle syrahs and they can be enjoyed younger. That proved the case here - fresh, juicy purple fruit. Minerality in the background but this is all about the fruit. Smooth tannins, no rough edges on this one. Crowd Pleaser. Can be held, but I think this is best enjoyed younger.
