Sunday, October 12, 2014 - Very nice wine that paired excellent with Italian meal. As others have commented, really hit its stride after about 1-2 hours of decanting, and became really smooth. Good amount of dark fruit layers with a bit of earthy, Tuscan style barnyard, a great lingering cherry candy flavor. Nice finish, and still plenty of fine tannins. No rush to drink this one, but certainly delicious right now.
