Likes this wine:

Saturday, August 11, 2018 - Barnyard nose—and I think I’ve given this one enough air for sulfur to blow off. On the tongue, very mellow fruit—I do get cassis, plum, maybe blueberry. Herbal notes—anise and a suggestion of mint. Olive on the back of the palate. Nice supporting acid and BIG TIME Spring Mountain tannin. This is one seriously complex wine. I really like it. It is big and mouth-filling. However, I can see how it can be difficult for some. I do not think there is sufficient fruit to outlast the tannin if one wanted to give this wine more sideways storage.
