Sunday, January 27, 2013 - Every once in a while, you're blessed to taste a classic wine! This Hawk Hill is one of those. It's the asskicking, real deal! Think Premier Cru Meusault and you'll begin to get the idea. The bouquet starts off with lemon and pineapple. There's a noticeable touch of oak and butter. Better yet, butterscotch. Then it really gets complex. The incredibly long finish continually morphs with citrus and spice flavors. Hope you've been as lucky as me to have tasted this beauty.
