Sunday, April 4, 2010 - This is an absolute winner for the price! Red/purple in colour, medium opacity - looks delicious. Ripe fruit with a bit of black pepper and a hint of provençal herbs on the nose. Delicious in the mouth - medium body, balanced tannins and acidity. Carries the notes from the aroma through on the palate, and lingers just long enough on the palate to leave me satisfied. Not overly complex or interesting in itself, but does what it does impressingly well, and for that this will surely become a go-to CdR for me.
