Saturday, December 12, 2009 - Popped and poured, Aroma faint dark cherry, mocha and a faint earth component. Immediate flavor of vanilla, dark fruits, mocha w/a creamy, rich hedonism I liked. Very smooth, w/o much tannin, for a Washington '07 cab. Not over the top, but pretty close as far as extreme richness along w/the vanilla & oak powerhouse (oak monster). After an hour and a half, no improvement, wine began to fade and lose some of its initital flavor. Good +, and for $10.99 at Fred Meyer, a solid QPR.
