Wednesday, October 1, 2014 - A big zin that had enough tannic structure to still be enjoyable. Some of the fruit character has rolled off, but this was still a pleasant experience. These giant wines aren't really my thing anymore, but I wouldn't agree that this wine is past its prime. I wouldn't hold forever either, just pull it out when you have right the occasion.
