Saturday, August 24, 2013 - Consistent with a bottle six months ago. Black fruit and herbs on the nose. More of the same on the palate, along with black pepper and traces of smoke and licorice Medium to light viscosity, but huge fruit on the mid-palate lingers quite a while, giving the impression of a longer finish. Unlike my impression six months ago, this seemed to have more than adequate tannins, so I'm in no hurry to drink my one remaining bottle.
