Sunday, August 21, 2011 - Medium ruby color. Nose of black cherry, spice, forest floor and a hint of mushroom in the background. Spicy red fruit on the palate along with some minerality, pomegranate and cranberry flavors. High acidity makes up for the somewhat soft tannins but there is great balance in this wine. Smooth mouthfeel and long, clean finish. Possibly my favorite 08 Sojourn to date.
