Saturday, April 21, 2018 - Burghound Symposium Asia - Gevrey Chambertin Clos St.Jacques 1er Cru Masterclass (Hong Kong): The longer this wine sat in the glass the better it was and in the end it snatched the crown at this tasting of many ok but not really great wines. Nose of dark fruit, plum, earthy. Structured palate but there is lots of great sour cherry that accompanies the tannins. Lovely, fruity finish. Early drinking window, decant or wait till 2023. 94+
