Saturday, October 2, 2010 - Santa Lucia Highlands Chardonnay and Pinot Noir (San Francisco Wine Trading Company): Medium ruby. Brambly, smoky fruit. Medium weight, very different from the rest of the wines in being much more soil driven and featuring higher acidity. Very subtle and understated in this context.
