Monday, January 30, 2006 - Clear garnet color, not too much darker than a pinot. A nose of cherry jam, black pepper, and alcohol. Very tasty mouthfull of strawberry jam, peppery spices and licorice, a nice mushroom undertone, and more alcohol. Janette liked it better than I did, a lot of nice stuff going on, but a little too much alcohol for me.
