Thursday, August 4, 2011 - This was wonderful. Great precision, complexity, focus and viscosity. Showing brioche, a touch of marzipan, boiled chestnuts, honeysuckle, Meyer lemon curd, key lime, apples, pears, perfectly ripe stone fruits, limestone and the slightest hint of raspberries. Became more and more textural as it opened up and warmed in the glass. Stunning aromatics, acidity and autolytic creaminess.
