Copper pink in colour.
Definitely not austere any more, quite open, yeast, rich nose and well round. No sharp edges anymore and this definitely felt 10yrs old+. Had that feeling that its past its vibrant youth and we suggest that one drinks it sooner than later. Still though pretty solid stuff and definitely and wine of quality, savory, yeasty and with a good mineral feel. Very good but not sure worth 200£.. 92-93 and drink now (for this 20 Sep 2011 Disgorgement)
