Saturday, August 21, 2010 - nose: nice and stylish nose with good depth for a village gevrey with tones of red fruits, earth, spices and some bits of red berries. Very fragrant with a fatness to the tones as well

taste: nice and balanced medium feel with good medium acidity as well as nice supporting tannins. Rounded and fresh tones of red fruits, spice tones and bits of red berries blend well together with nice depth that one would expect from a village wine

overall: a nice village gevrey. This could probably use another year or two to fully round out and has the acidity to last a decent bit, but this is more of a food and everyday sort of village wine. This had been opened for a good while before I got to it, so the air most likely helped as well
