Saturday, March 24, 2012 - Blackberry, boysenberry, camphor and wet rock on the nose. Palate really unfolded after several hours in the decanter. Juicy blackberries galore, with notes of anise and smoke. Decent acidity and chewy tannins. Still something of a beast at age 10 -- has a long life ahead of it. Paired well with a spicy bbq sauce.
