Tuesday, March 8, 2011 - Dark purple hue in color. Minimal sediment in the bottle with a dark, stained cork. The nose is pleasant with smells of blackberry, blue berry and licorice. Easy drinking with a weaker midpalate and finish, perhaps due to its younger age... This is a Malbec, Cab, Merlot blend in that respective order. Alone this wine may disappoint, but it actually pairs very well with food. I enjoyed this bottle at an Argentinian steak house with a filet minon.
