Sunday, August 2, 2009 - Last of the lot and not a bad finale.

Color: Darker than expected, garnet to ruby hues.

Nose: Cassis, some nicely integrated oak, some earth and nicely different orange zest.

Palate: Cassis, some dried mixed red berry and soft oak, some earthy undertones. Soft and luscious finish, long...still taste it on the palate nicely a few minutes later between initial sips while preparing dinner.
