Tuesday, June 30, 2015 - So I was a little split here. Had been saving the bottle for >1 year and had something to celebrate. On the one hand, it's unmistakably DP, that flinty nose, with a hint of toastiness on the finish. On the other hand, I've had more palate complexity at a far lesser price. Two dimensional at best whereas other vintages brough more to the playing field. Having said that, it's otherwise hard to fault. I agree with everyone's comments about green apple and caramel, but not a whole lot else. Finishes smooth and long. I'll happily replace the bottle with another from an alternative vintage.
