Thursday, July 20, 2017 - Initially very saline and mineral on the nose, a big contrast to the quite generous, broad impressions on the palate where waxy fruit and toast dominates. Still fresh acidity though. Fine mousse and very good lenght, finishing with a perfume of lavender and roses. Not terribly complex. Still very young. Gradually, with time in the glass, it gets more nutty and richer on both nose and palate. A somewath odd wine, but much fun to try. I really do wonder where it's headed over time. Drank alongside the 2002 wich was clearly the better wine but also more mainstream and in a way less interesting.
