This wine however, was not at all similar. Ruby red, with perhaps a very slight beginning of orange on the edge. Restrained but pleasant nose. Light red fruits (shut down?) with a hint of cocoa. Though it's been probably a year, I remember a similar disappointment with the 2000? Do I just not get this wine and its solid reputation or is my timing off?
