Friday, February 18, 2011 - I first tasted this in Feb 2011 and wasn't impressed. It was linear and boring. Perhaps it just needed a touch more time in the bottle. I tasted this again at the end of May and was blown away. Then, just to make sure I wasn't crazy, tasted again last night (6/12/2011) and it was just as delicious. From the nose to the midpalate on through to the sticky long finish, this wine oozes a cassis-like liqueur streaked with cedar. The depth of flavors continue to roll and change and repeat. Truly an amazing wine that on both occasions made me sad to empty the bottle. Highly recommended.
