On the palette, the tannins are only moderately integrated, blackberry carries through more subdued, strong black licorice, with the prototypical hay and tapioca (perhaps more vanilla cream) on the mid-palette and graphite/mineral on the back end (reminiscent of Rutherford more than Oakville). At the very back end they’re a subtle nectarine or mango.
