92 Points

Saturday, December 31, 2022 - The nose on opening is blackberry pie with a whiff of pepperiness. On the palette, the tannins are only moderately integrated, blackberry carries through more subdued, strong black licorice, with the prototypical hay and tapioca (perhaps more vanilla cream) on the mid-palette and graphite/mineral on the back end (reminiscent of Rutherford more than Oakville). At the very back end they’re a subtle nectarine or mango.
