Wednesday, March 8, 2023 - Half-hour decant to start, served in the low 60s F. Cork in great condition. A deep garnet color, no bricking. Rich earthy nose, with a hint of menthol tobacco. Black cherry fruit dominates the palate. Initially velvety mouthfeel, evolved to a silky drying wine with a short but pleasant finish. Acidity has faded a bit, but this is still a well-balanced wine.
