Saturday, April 27, 2013 - Crisp, fruit-driven Chardonnay, with flavours of mango, peach, lemon, pear and nectarine. Acidity is high, and there are no obvious oak or butter notes, but it's smooth and medium-bodied, not a steely Chablis-style Chardonnay. Slight hints of fresh bread and funk (dirty laundry) emerge with time, but the acidity and tropical fruit notes hold centre stage.
