Friday, May 4, 2012 - Solvent and alcohol on the nose (not a surprise given it's 15.4% ABV), but there is enticing vanilla, dusty cocoa, sweet cinnamon, blackcurrant, and jam.

Medium to full-bodied with drinkable tannins, moderate acidity, mesquite, and more jam. Definitely hot, so drinking this on the cooler side is not a bad idea. A disappointing midpalate and finish.
