Saturday, November 29, 2014 - This was the surprise of the evening. This wine was very much together and at full maturity. All the great secondary traits were there, dried cherry, leather, a bit of olive, martha's vineyardesque mint/eucalyptus. Tannins were silky smooth and hardly noticeable. The fruit was there and up front. Total balance. I'm not sure of the future but where it's at right now it was wow. Against some big time competition that evening and it held it's own. No decant - lasted for about 1 1/2 hours.
