Cayuse Syrahs generally age quite well, but this is the third 2008 Cayuse Syrah I've had in the past few months that were either peeking or past their peak. Early on, this were great wines when they were young, but they feel tired now. In contrast, the 2009 Bionic Frog, which I also tasted today, seems to be an infant with a very long life ahead. This and the 2008 Armada are among my least favorite 5+ year-old Cayuses I've ever had. Very disappointing.
