Thursday, July 10, 2014 - No decant, faded blueberry and graphite in the bouquet, the palate is dominated by angularity and a long tannic finish, this is an example of a Sangiovese that has passed its peak in terms of its fruit and has passed into a much more earthy stage, interesting to try and enjoyable in its own way.
