The high iron content of the vineyard's trademark soil is very apparent. Almost like sucking on a coin or set of keys. The mouth is off-dry and laden with sweet pear and fresh white flowers. Made me think of crisp white linens drying on a clothesline in the wind on a hot summer day. Fell a little flat in the acidity department leaving it slightly off-balance, but this is a crowd-pleaser. Really easy to drink, low-alcohol, and definitely not your typical Riesling. Perfect for a summer garden party or day by the pool.
