Monday, December 9, 2019 - Reasonably well cellared since purchase in 1990. Solid cork, little sediment, bit of a brown rim, surprisingly fruity but certainly well balanced (for a Zin.) Not a lot of depth. These were tannic monsters even after 5-10 years, but the tannins are down to a nice offset to the fruit on the finish. Very enjoyable with a slow cooked check steak stew.
