Sunday, September 12, 2010 - Solid funk on the nose upon first opening the bottle, with some time this blew off. Not nearly as funky as recent bottles of 07 Arley's, but still quite pronounced.

Some earth, forest etc after funk blew off, then a nice elegant bottle of pinot underneath. Drank alongside 06 Lafarge Volnay, the difference was clear but both great bottles of wine.
