Saturday, April 25, 2015 - I was worried after reading Tooches note but I thought this showed well. Served at around 60 degrees and popped and poured. Not quite as savory as I remembered but also not a simple fruit bomb. There is a good amount of fruit though, mostly darker in tone. Some smokey, cured meat, slight licorice. A little spice on the nose. Some charred, tarry notes. Good acid on the finish and just a little fine tannin remaining. We enjoyed it. This was my last bottle but I think it will drink well for a couple more years.
