Tuesday, July 21, 2015 - Accessed with Coravin. Medium ruby color with fuchsia glints. Nose of lavender, unripe plum and stone. The palate starts with tart red fruit, transitioning to an intensely acidic midpalate, finishing long with persistent minerality. I am regretting my decision (prompted by others' tasting notes) to try this- it is not at all resolved and requires at least five more years in the cellar. I'd counsel patience.

7/25/2015 6:12:00 PM - So glad you posted this. I have only one bottle. Seems that Burgundy 2006 vintage for premier cru and higher are too often found to be not showing well in terms of resolving and balancing. Will it ever harmonize?
