Wednesday, March 28, 2018 - Brick color throughout, clear ruby. Amazingly fresh with initially tart and then candied cherries, backed by licorice and a smooth purity of flavor that is remarkable for a 19 year old California Pinot. Not too complex, but delicious nonetheless. This has thrown considerable sediment. Benefits from 20 minutes in a decanter. Drink now or hold.
