Saturday, November 20, 2004 - Inky black core with a blueish purple rim. Appealing nose cassis, frappucino and clove. The palate was monster, enveloping the palate with the viscocity of motor oil, yet stays super light on its feet, with zero sense of heavyness. Waves of ripe red fruits, more moccha, roasted meats, cinnamon and sweet oak. This literally dances on the palate before going down the hatch. An incredible finish that goes the distance. This is a huge wine, but impeccably balanced. Top juice.
