Monday, July 25, 2005 - this wine was HUGE! So perfumed on the nose, but so powerful on the palate, this was a monster that could walk a tightrope. A wealth of black fruits, strong minerality, expresso bean, touch of cedar, and ripe toothcoating tannins. One of the longest finishes ever! Not for everyone due to sheer size and power, but with a sirloin on the grill this is your match. Wonderful.
