Friday, October 25, 2019 - This might be past its prime, but the bottom line is, if it is, this is still better a few years beyond its best than most Cabs are at their peak. Not overly jammy, which is to its benefit, to be honest. Very smooth, very subtle, lots of dark berries, a bit of plum, some oak leaf aroma. The bottle says 14.5% but one would be hard pressed to find all that alcohol. We got this directly from the Beckmen's personal library, which was an amazing experience. If you like well-balanced Cabs, you will enjoy this, if you still have it or can find it.
