Sunday, October 11, 2009 - Rich, round fruit with a bit of exotic spice; on the nose, curry and an aroma evocative of mothballs and licorice. Of the three barrel samples, this was probably the best - has power and complexity on the palage. Apparently this vineyard block makes the final Quintessa blend every year. 91-92
