Sunday, August 23, 2009 - I have now had all 3 of these 2003 Kermit Lynch 2003 Domaine de la Charbonnière Châteauneuf-du-Papes - I am rarely disappointed in KL wines but these were just not up to the hype/marketing. This wine started off woody and earthy and hot on the palate, some dark fruit. It did get better the longer it was open. One glass left for day two....much smoother and not hot. So I am thinking one needs to have this open for a while....It is not an open and pour kinda wine
