Monday, January 3, 2011 - Intense. Definitely new world Pinot. Nose of cherries and roasting meat juices. Savoury & earthy; a tad herbal. Yet also has some sweet creamy vanilla notes. Ripe sweet fruit flavours, but with that savoury meaty character persisting through the finish.
