  Sour cherry notes. Bit of bacon. Wild herbs. Leather. Soft juicy palate. Nicely integrated tannic structure. The juicy fruit holds through to the finish, which is quite long. For one that was under £10 when bought in April 2010 this is excellent value.

  Very interesting and unique. Straight up aromas of sour patch kids, no doubt. Bright cherry fruit on the palate with a lot of herb action and minerality. There is also a noticeable sense of hairspray and chlorine.

  PA Wine Talk Number 16 - Wines from South America (Bigelow Grille - Pittsburgh): Medium red in color and weight. Lots of dark fruit on the nose, followed in the mouth by more blackberry and black cherry, a bit of vanilla and some spice. Nice QPR.

  Intense. Definitely new world Pinot. Nose of cherries and roasting meat juices. Savoury & earthy; a tad herbal. Yet also has some sweet creamy vanilla notes. Ripe sweet fruit flavours, but with that savoury meaty character persisting through the finish.

  Medium bodied with soft tannins and mid-level acidity. Slightly effervescent just after popping. Sweet cherry fruit with some welcomed tart red berries underneath. Liquorice, slight earthy nuances and chocolaty oak. Medium length with some heat from the 14,5% abv.
  This is surprisingly good for the price point. New World -like sure, but in a very approachable way.
