Wednesday, October 28, 2020 - Gave this a lot of air since the last few bottles have been quite weird - maybe 2 hours in the decanter? - then drank over the course of the evening. Very pleasant roast chicken wine with lively red fruit and some good earthy character. Not terribly complex or effusive, which is fine when it's not meant to be center stage. I might have let it go a little too long in the decanter, as it was a little sleepy by the end. At that point, though, I was having a f--k it moment with pretzels and port wine cheese, so not paying much attention.
