Friday, January 11, 2019 - Still going strong. Pale and cloudy amber color. Looks oxidized. In the nose, this is murky at first, but with air it really blossoms. Typical Joly nose of slight oxidation, some botrytis, slate, but with a really fresh background composed of white flowers and lemongrass. Beautiful. In the mouth, this is quite spectacular, tight, forceful, but graceful, the 15% Vol. ABV are really well hidden, deep and complex minerality, nice acidity, long and nuanced finish. This is really excellent.
