Monday, June 28, 2010 - Popped and poured. Should have decanted -- this really benefitted from some air. Beautiful color. Strawberry, candied cherries, maybe a hint of anise on the nose. Lots of acid. Good tannic structure. A bit thin in the mid-palette and in the finish (thanks to the acid). Great, great food wine. Steal for $28. Drinks like the best cru Beaujolais.
