Monday, December 10, 2012 - WSET Level 2 Class 8 (BCIT Downtown Campus, Vancouver, BC): Tasted blind. Clear, medium+ gold. Nose is clean, prounced intensity, aromas of tropical fruit, marmalade, golden raisin, spice, mushroom, wax... incredibly complex and constantly shifting. Palate is sweet, with high acid, medium body, flavours of orange marmalade, peel, dried apricots, honey, beeswax, oak spice. Finish is very long. Very good to outstanding quality, fascinating wine.
