Tuesday, December 4, 2012 - Pale yellow straw. Sweet but mild lychee, stonefruit, citrus, slate, floral, and vanilla aromas - not as aromatic as other Gewurztraminers. Off-dry and medium body with a smooth texture and a fierce minerality. Hint of spice on midpalate. Lychee and stonefruit flavors crescendo into a minerally, saline-tinged finish. Very good.

Paired with red coconut veggie curry, baked breaded eggplant, and brown rice.
