Tuesday, May 19, 2020 - Golden yellow. Suspect slight premox but not ruined, just very advanced for its age. Nose of vax, honey-melon, ripe lemon and lemonrind, winter apples, slightly bruised. Also some very light smoke/chalk. On the palate still fair levels of acidity, even if the overall impression is quite soft. Fruit toned down and again vax, vanilla, honey but some minreals and a quite fresh saltiness. Drinking quite well, but there ought to be better bottles.

EDIT: some previous notes mention that this has a slight touch of botrytis and I guess this might add to the slightly sweet, advanced impression I am getting.
