88 Points

Tuesday, August 28, 2012 - Top shoulder, pop and drink, still light blood red color, the nose was rather light, wet wood, dry nut and plum. The palate was enjoyable leaning to a bit sour with a medium smooth mouthfeel. The tannins have totally dissolved while the overall balance is still there, the aftertaste is medium. The wine has evolved after 1.5 hrs with a stronger and more attractive nose/mouthfeel. Overall, better than expected and still very drinkable and a nice experience to venture into this less noticed vintage.
