90 Points

Thursday, March 26, 2020 - Coravin. Medium-deep ruby; medium-plus aromatics, blueberry, meaty garrigue, slight spice, complex nose; palate is medium bodied, fresh medium to medium-plus acidity throughout, medium alcohol in good balance (12.5% on the label), fruit is present but less obvious than on the nose; medium length finish. A balanced and lovely Northern Rhone, typical for 2008 which is to say a bit lighter, more elegant, less concentrated form of Northern Syrah, but perfectly pleasant as a table/food wine. Don't pay anywhere near the $140 it shows on wine searcher... this is a good $50 wine. 90
